We can borrow books without charge from other libraries across Iowa through the statewide interlibrary loan program! Simply let us know what you're looking for and we'll see if it's available to borrow.

Interlibrary Loan Program FAQ:

How long will it take?
Physical items often take 5-10 business days to arrive at our library.

How will it be delivered?
You will receive an email, phone call, or text when your book is ready for pick up at the Buffalo Center Public Library.​​​​​​​

How long can I borrow? 
Most Iowa Shares are available to borrow for up to one month. Need it longer? There's a good chance we can get it renewed for you through the lending library.

How do I return the item?
Bring it back to the Buffalo Center Public Library and we'll take care of it from there!
